Passive Stretching

"Get stretched out", is a one-on-one assisted passive stretching session, facilitated by our wellness specialist. Our specialists will “stretch you out” by stretching various muscles groups such as your hamstrings, quadriceps, hips, chest, shoulders, arms, and lower back. Research shows that stretching improves mobility range of motion, reduce stiffness, muscular tension, and overall stress.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Wear Comfortable Clothing
Go with loose, stretchy clothes like:

  • Athletic wear
  • Yoga pants or sweatpants
  • A t-shirt or comfortable top

While this attire is not a required please do not wear skirts or any kind or very restrictive work clothes like tight jeans


2. Arrive Hydrated
Drink some water before and after. Hydration helps your muscles respond better to stretching and can reduce soreness.


3. Don’t Do a Heavy Workout Right Before
Light movement is fine, but intense exercise right before may leave your muscles too fatigued or tight.


4. Eat Light (or Not Too Close to the Session)
A heavy meal right before stretching can feel uncomfortable. A small snack is totally fine.


5. Communicate Any Pain or Injuries
Let the stretching professional know if you have:

  • Recent injuries
  • Chronic pain
  • Limited mobility
  • Areas you want to avoid or focus on

Passive stretching should never feel sharp or painful.


6. Relax and Breathe
The best results come when you stay calm and let your body release tension. Slow breathing helps your muscles loosen up.


7. Keep an Open Mind
Even if you’re not “flexible,” passive stretching is for everyone — especially people who sit a lot or feel stiff.
